The Eremo Guest House was converted from one of the first houses in the historic center in Polignano a Mare. At first built entirely within the old town, with the expansion of the town and the construction of Via Roma, the first street of the new development, the house was enlarged and the entrance placed in its current location.

During the renovation works, a marine tuff core of a beautiful sand color emerged from the walls, where it will not be difficult to see fossils of old shells, typical elements of this type of material. The idea of alternating the ancient with the modern has become more and more vivid, to become the prominent feature.
The concept is intensified by the strong presence of typical Apulian decorations and furnishings, deriving from the old peasant arts that recount the past of this land.
