60th kite festival

In Polignano a celebration of colours

A traditional festival that has always fascinated and involved young and old will take place in Polignano: it is the kite festival, which has reached its sixtieth edition this year, which will be held on Sunday 28 May 2023 at Largo Ardito, an equally suggestive place in peak over the sea.

Ideal event for families, starting from 15.30 until 20.00 it will be a whirlwind of colors and music, with the musical accompaniment and entertainment of Radio Incontro and the participation of the Sbandieratori and Musici Florentinum of Torremaggiore who will enliven the streets of the center historic.

In the weeks preceding the event, to better prepare for the party, kite construction and customization workshops will be held at the Pro Loco Polignano and the Portico of Palazzo San Giuseppe, organized by the cultural association ZIC ZIC and master Mino Mancini, on 17 ,19,24,27 May .
